Hello friends! What a weekend it was! As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to travel to Whistler. If you saw my Instagram stories, then you noticed we took a family road trip out to Whistler, BC. Since Avery isn’t skiing yet, we thought it would be a perfect time to travel to Whistler during the Springtime. As soon as we got on Sea to Sky Highway, I could not believe the stunning views. I highly recommend making the trip out there, no matter which season it is!
We enjoyed our stay at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. I am always a little hesitant to travel while little love is a toddler, but staying at this resort seriously made it SO much easier. Four Seasons Whistler is located in the Whistler Upper Village (surrounded by tons of restaurants & shops), and it’s a short walk to the Whistler Blackcomb Gondola. Four Seasons Whistler also provides a shuttle & ski concierge. The Ski Concierge during ski season is located right at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper Village (so no need to carry your ski equipment). Whether you are looking to ski, or explore the trails & museums near by, this is the spot for you.
As soon as we got to our room, there was a crib set up with everything we would need for Avery. The room was so cozy, and had a fireplace (which would be PERFECT in the winter). We had a balcony with a stunning view of the mountains. When we checked in, the staff had a teddy bear for Avery, & a snack waiting for us in our room. It was exactly what we needed after traveling all day. It’s so obvious how this resort really pays attention to detail, and really strives to make your stay memorable. Even if you are a fur mommy, I saw so many dogs walking around the resort. Four Seasons Whistler has a resort pup named Maola! The staff was so knowledge about the area, and had great recommendations about family friendly activities to participate in near by. I will share a Whistler Travel Guide next week. Four Seasons goes above & beyond for their guests. Our little family felt so comfortable the entire weekend. It felt like a home away from home.
One of my favorite things about the resort was this s’mores patio camper set up, and their resort pool is such a relaxing oasis (and kid friendly)! Avery enjoyed a swim in the pool, and chicken tenders pool side. 🙂
We also enjoyed Sunday Brunch at Four Seasons Whistler’s restaurant Sidecut. I highly recommend! They had a perfect brunch spread. Four Seasons also has another restaurant called Sidecup, where you can grab a coffee & grab and go breakfast if you are on the go. Although, we did not ski this trip, we had so much fun exploring Whistler Village and Lost Lake hiking trails, which are both a short walk from Four Seasons. This resort is in the prime location to seriously EVERYTHING.
Whether you are hitting the slopes, or just want a short family weekend getaway, I HIGHLY recommend Four Seasons Whistler. We are already talking about planning a trip during ski season next year. If y’all have stayed at this resort before, let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading along, and thank you Four Seasons for a wonderful getaway! I can’t wait to visit again, when it is sprinkled in snow!
