Hey y’all! Man, time is FLYING. I took a brief break from blogging as our little family made a PCS (permanent change of station) move from Charleston, SC, to Bainbridge Island, WA. (*Stay tuned, I will be writing a separate post about moving tips I have learned this time around.)
It feels so great to be back up and running, I’ve missed you guys! Being from Texas and then living in South Carolina, I have always experienced a “southern” October. Don’t get me wrong, I love the warmer weather and I’m not complaining about being able to wear shorts in October but, I am really enjoying something different this year. I am really enjoying being in the PNW (Pacific Northwest) this time around! The leaves are changing; the temperature has been in the 60s all week; so what better fall activity to partake in than pumpkin picking?
This pumpkin patch is called Suyematsu Farm on Bainbridge Island. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this patch if you are in the area. I have never seen such a variety of pumpkins! They have my favorite kind of pumpkins- (the Cinderella) dreamy, pastel ones! Also, a beautiful background to capture some pictures of my growing bump! A special shout out to my husband for being such a great sport. I know I enjoyed this date a lot more than he did. 🙂
A little bumpdate
How far along: 34 weeks along (and a few days)
Movement: Baby girl is a strong one. At night time, I can see her kick even if I have a blanket over my stomach!
How I’m Feeling/ Cravings: This third trimester has been SO real. I mean all the stereotypical things you think of a pregnant women I am experiencing. I feel like I have turned into cookie monster. I am craving all of the sweets, can barely tie my shoes, let alone see my feet. It takes me a while to get up from bed or a chair. I know I will miss these moments though. I am cherishing baby girl dancing around in my tummy.
What I am up to: I have been washing all of her clothes preparing her nursery (FINALLY). I have been waiting to buy all of her nursery furniture until we unpacked here in Washington, so it feels so great to get her room all organized (doing all the “nesting” things). I stand in her room and dream about what she will be like.
Hope you guys have a great weekend! Comment below some of your favorite baby products; I would love to hear from y’all!
