Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe our sweet Avery Anne was born ONE WEEK AGO already! Meeting her for the first time will be a moment I cherish forever. I had quite the long labor & delivery- I will save you all the details, but towards the end of my labor & delivery Avery’s heart rate slightly increased so when she entered into the world I could not hold her right away, she was placed in a crib right next to me to be all checked out. When she was in her crib her eyes were GLUED to me. It’s like she knew exactly who I was. The sweetest little eyes I have ever looked at. Praising the Lord she is a healthy baby, and we went right to skin-to-skin snuggles. She is also her dad’s twin and my heart could not be happier.
Details about this sleep shirt, and a few things I wish I would of brought with me to the hospital. This sleep shirt is from Pink Blush, and seriously so soft and comfortable. After labor & delivery (and even during the end of pregnancy) I LIVED in this shirt, and wish I would of brought more sleep shirts with me rather than long pajamas because it was easier to change into. Also, I wish I would of brought a heated blanket with me. Recovering from labor & delivery my entire body never has been so stiff and sore. Once I got home I snuggled up in my blanket and it helped loosen my muscles tremedously.
This week Christmas shopping and decorating is on the agenda. I can’t wait to celebrate our first Christmas as a fam of 4 (including my pups Heidi). Thank you so much for reading along!
